Mark Your Calendars: Moving sale for neighbors (and select friends) at Emma's house - Monday, June 3 from 7 - 9 p.m.

Come at your convenience. Emma has several items for sale - mostly furniture.

UPDATE: The moving sale for Tuesday has been postponed. Emma has sold most of her stuff! Thanks neighbors for your support!

Tractor Show This Saturday

The 11th Annual Jackie McCullers Farm Days Tractor Show is set for this Saturday, June 1st starting at 8 a.m. The tractors will be set up on McCullers Road in between Johnson Road and Centerhill Church Road. This is a fun family event and all are welcome! The event is free of charge. There will also be a tractor ride at 1 p.m.

Car Show
There will be a car show this Saturday in the Loganville Wal-Mart parking lot.

Thanks Neighbors
The front entrance looks beautiful after some much needed sprucing-up by our neighbors. Thanks Paul, John, Dexter, Jim, Swen, Alvin, Buddy, and Jimmy.

Congratulations David and Kim who are expecting a baby girl in September!

New Beginnings
Emma has a contract on a beautiful home in North Carolina and she is looking forward to being closer to her family who live in the area.

Lock Your Cars and Homes
According to recent Walton County Zone Alerts, nearby residents along Sharon Church Road have experienced theft and burglaries recently. Several unlocked cars were broken into in the Yorkshire Estates subdivision and Sharon Baptist Church was burglarized with several items stolen. Kids who attend Walton County schools are out for the summer. Make sure you keep your car doors and homes locked and remove any valuables, especially electronics, from your car overnight.

Update: HOA Dues Paid

As of Wednesday, May 22nd, thirteen neighbors have paid their annual HOA dues. Dues are $25 this year. Please make your check payable to Lafayette Ridge HOA and submit payment to Paul.

Entrance Workday Set for Saturday

Join neighbors on Saturday morning at 11am for a neighborhood entrance workday/bush trimming. Please bring your saws and gloves. Contact Paul for more details.

Welcome New Neighbors

We welcome our newest neighbors to LaFayette Ridge!

Dorsey and Barbara Clark are moving into the Beverly's house.

James Guido and family will be moving into Emma's house (closing set for June 24th) soon from Virginia Beach, Va. According to his Linkedin page, James is concluding his 29-year Naval career as full-charge director of the aircraft maintenance operation for a squadron of 12 Boeing FA-18C Hornet Jet Fighters.

Emma's House Under Contract

That was fast! Emma has accepted an offer on her house & the home is under contract. It will close in mid June. The family is said to be in the military and they live out of state. They have children. We wish Emma the best of luck!

UPDATE: HOA Dues - 5 Neighbors Have Paid

Only five neighbors have paid their HOA dues thus far. Dues are $25 this year and they cover our two cookouts, the Christmas party, the light/power bill for the front entrance, pine straw/upkeep of the front entrance and other costs that pop up throughout the year.
