Be On The Lookout
A man driving a Chevy Suburban with a mismatched door has been spotted around the Sharon Church Road area lately allegedly attempting to steal lawn equipment, trailers, etc.
A Loganville woman reported that her son was cutting a yard in a neighborhood off Sharon Church Road on Tuesday and they parked their trailer in the turn lane into the subdivision. The man pulled up and attempted to hitch the trailer and equipment to his truck and drive off. The woman confronted him and he drove off. She was unable to get his tag number because his tag was bent down to conceal the information.
A friend of ours lives on a small street (4 houses) just past Green Road and they saw the same Suburban with the different color door drive slowly around their cul-de-sac around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Let's keep a look out for this man and vehicle in case he comes into LaFayette Ridge searching for something to steal.

Neighborhood Watch Sign Stolen Again
The LaFayette Ridge Neighborhood Watch sign, purchased last year by HOA funds, has been taken for a second time (presumably by our teenage vandals). The sign was last spotted in Barrington Manor and returned to the front entrance at LaFayette Ridge. Neighbors stamped "LaFayette Ridge HOA" on the back in permanent ink and drove the sign deep into the ground - but that didn't deter the vandals.
Also, on Saturday, July 3rd, a sign was spotted at the front of Barrington Manor reading, "Lock your cars. We've had several break-ins recently." Looks like our friends have ventured over to Barrington. Don't forget to lock your vehicle doors, set your alarms and report anyone suspicious to police.
