Workday, Cookout, Graduates and More
Thank you to all the neighbors who recently helped spruce up the front entrance. Tim, Paul, David, Laura G., Jim, Buddy, John, and Jimmy worked very hard and we appreciate their efforts!
We had a wonderful cook out recently with the best turnout in many years. Thank you to all of our neighbors who brought delicious food and for a night of fun and fellowship.
Congratulations Xavier and Gunnar on their recent graduations from high school.
Congratulations to Eddie and Angie who are set to be grandparents again as Autumn is expecting another baby boy on Halloween.

HOA Update
Dues
Thanks neighbors for paying your 2015 HOA dues. It's not too late to pay if you haven't already. See Paul.
(Neighborly) Complaint Department
Since being named "HOA President" some weeks back, a few "neighborly complaints" have rolled my way. I thought one way to handle the situation might be to compile them as a list of suggestions. So, here they are (in no particular order):
1. Please keep your grass, bushes, yard, weeds, etc. cut, trimmed, edged and maintained.
2. Please be mindful of what time you use your lawnmower, pressure washer, chainsaw, etc. (Preferably after 8 a.m. and before 9 p.m.)
3. Please pick up after your dogs. If they poop in someone's yard, please be courteous and remove their waste.
4. Please move all trailers and/or campers to the back yard so that they are not visible from the road.
5. Please keep your dog's barking to a minimum.
6. Please slow down in the neighborhood.
7. Please paint/maintain your mailbox.
8. Please keep your dog on a leash when out of your yard.
I'm sure I'll have more to add to this list once this blog posting is read.
