Spring Neighborhood Cookout

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3 for the annual neighborhood spring cookout! The event will take place at the Chandler's house and will begin at 6 p.m. Please let Maria know if you will be attending and what food item(s) you will bring.

Retro Arcade Coming to Loganville

A retro arcade will soon open in Loganville near Sonic complete with your favorite old-school games like PAC-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, etc.

Neighborhood Pine Straw Order

It's almost that time of year again to start thinking about sprucing up our yards, planting stuff and putting out pine straw.

Last year we placed a bulk order of pine straw through Bell's Pine Straw for a rate of $2.85 per bale. I will contact him again about an order to be delivered at the end of the month/first of April. 

Please let Lauren know if you're interested and how many bales you would like. They will deliver to each individual house and place them wherever you'd like. They will even spread them for about $1 per bale. Make checks payable to Bell's Pine Straw.

Don't forget to spring forward/change your clocks on March 9th. And it is always a good idea to change the batteries in your smoke detectors at this time too.

Prayers go out to the Kidd's after their beloved dog, Jackson, passed away on Tuesday.

Get well soon wishes go out to Sandy who has been battling the "crud" that's going around.

Congrats to the Farmer's who will welcome a new baby boy (Luke) in April!

The Myers' are grandparents (and that makes the Owens' great-grandparents) after their daughter Autumn (and her husband Seth) welcomed their first baby, a son named Maddox in early December.

Hit and Run – GSP worked a hit and run accident with injuries involving a motorcycle at Highway 20 and McCullers Road. The suspect vehicle was described by witnesses as a 1990’s model regular cab white truck (possibly a Chevrolet) with “Handyman” written on the drivers’ door and tailgate in silver lettering (unknown if it is also printed on the passenger door). The suspect vehicle struck the motorcycle from behind then left the scene at a high rate of speed on GA 20 towards Conyers. The suspect vehicle will possibly have drivers’ side front damage.

The house on Johnson Road facing LaFayette Ridge recently sold for $236,000. The new family will move in at the end of the month.
