Hit and Run – GSP worked a hit and run accident with injuries involving a motorcycle at Highway 20 and McCullers Road. The suspect vehicle was described by witnesses as a 1990’s model regular cab white truck (possibly a Chevrolet) with “Handyman” written on the drivers’ door and tailgate in silver lettering (unknown if it is also printed on the passenger door). The suspect vehicle struck the motorcycle from behind then left the scene at a high rate of speed on GA 20 towards Conyers. The suspect vehicle will possibly have drivers’ side front damage.

Lafayette Ridge Christmas Dinner - Date Set
The annual Lafayette Ridge neighborhood Christmas dinner will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at the Bay Creek Community House on Bay Creek Church Road in Loganville.
Our HOA dues will cover the cost of the rental, meat, and paper goods. Please bring a covered dish to share. We have the facility from 6 - 10 p.m.

Attempted burglary report - an attempted burglary report was made on Winding Grove Lane in the Waverly subdivision off Pointer Road/McCullers Road.
Be on the Lookout
On Sunday, Nov. 3, around 6 a.m., a white male between 20-30 years of age broke into Harmony Baptist Church and stole two computers from the church office. He was driving a white, 4-door, 2001-2005 Chevy Cavalier. The car had an XM satellite radio antenna in the center of the roof near the front windshield, black side mirrors and a spoiler on the back of the vehicle. Report information to Lt. Kirk McLeroy or Detective Gary Simmons a the WCSO at 770-267-2391.

Please pray for Buddy and his family as his brother-in-law (Charles) passed away Monday evening.
UPDATE: Arrangements have been made. Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m. and a memorial will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at Tom Wages Funeral Home in Snellville.
Prayers go out to Joe C. who is resting after spending a few days in the hospital last week. He is home and doing well. UPDATE: Joe is already back to work!
Prayers go out to Emma's son (Allen) who spent a little time in the emergency room recently. He is home and doing well also.
Congratulations to Jonathan M. who recently got engaged and is purchasing his first home!

Burglary – After Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on GA 20 at the Country Store, it was discovered that a burglary had occurred. The glass door was broken out and items were taken. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
Theft – A check was reportedly stolen from a mailbox on Rabbit Farm Rd.
Harassment – A subject was arrested on Highway 78 for Disorderly Conduct after a harassment report was made.
Damage to Property – Car parts are reportedly being left in the driveway at a residence on Hwy 20. The parts are causing flat tires on vehicles entering and leaving the residence.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person – On Holly Ridge Drive in Cevera Lakes subdivision, a foot chase occurred between a suspect and Walton County deputies. The subject was not found; however, various types of illegal drugs were found inside the subject’s vehicle. The suspect has been named and warrants have been taken in the incident.
