LaFayette Ridge Gets Buckets of Rain

LaFayette Ridge received nearly 3 inches of rainfall Sunday night. The storm came through around 7 p.m. and lasted for over two hours, resulting in the large amount of water in our rain gauges. What a welcome sight.

The blogger's rain gauge measured 2.75 inches!

  1. Yes, there was a storm that came through. I am not sure if anyone heard the extremely loud lightning strike or not, but it brought back bad memories for us from a year ago. The lightning struck a pine tree in our backyard and knock out several breakers and gfi circuits in the house. That was too close for comfort. We are looking into getting a lightning protection system installed now. Dexter
