Thank you LaFayette Ridge Veterans

Veterans Day was first established in the United States as Armistice Day to celebrate the end of World War 1. In 1954 the national holiday was changed to Veterans Day as President Dwight Eisenhower called on all Americans to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of America's veterans.

LaFayette Ridge neighbors John Sharp, Joe Wozniak, Alvin Kidd, Greg Hood, Daniel Bruner, Mark Finchum and Buddy Owens all served in the military.

As we celebrate Veterans Day Wednesday, we thank you for your selfless bravery and your service to our country. We appreciate you!
