Update on Johnson Road House

Fortune was released from Gwinnett Co. Jail on Feb. 25th.
A resident of the Johnson Road house where several Lafayette Ridge neighbors have recently complained to county officials about chained up dogs, suspicious activity, and a plethora of occupants, was arrested again recently for violation of probation. Gwinnett County Police picked up Eeon Wesley Fortune on Thursday night at 11:58 p.m.  He was released from Gwinnett County Jail on February 25th. This is the same man that was arrested after being shot during a home invasion at that home in late November.

During the Neighborhood Watch Meeting earlier that same night, I spoke with Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman about that home and he promised to take action. I'm sure this arrest was just a coincidence however. Click here to see Fortune's mugshot hall of shame.

  1. Chained up dogs and plethora of occupants? This home is a multi family home. My dog was always takin care of and is ok by walton county standards. Just bc other families can not take proper care of their dogs does NOT mean eeon was the one mistreating them. I have always had problems with the Lafayette neighbors. They r racist as can be. They had the nerve to comlain bout different races living in one house and even have the nerve to trespass and take pics of inside my home. They harassed us nonstop all because we cut trees down in our own yard. You can tell whoever does this messenger does not know any facts about anything and are stupid and racist as can be. And just so u know he never violated it was a mistake in the counties system because they do not know how to do their job
