New Arrivals
Congrats to Kaylin (Thompson) and her husband on a new baby boy!

Retirements & New Jobs
Congrats to Eddie on retiring from the Gwinnett County Fire Department!
And congrats to Johnny G. on his retirement and new job at George Walton Academy!
Good luck to Jason Myers in his pursuit of becoming a Gwinnett County police officer!

Condolences
The Stewart's dog, Copper, passed away recently. She was a neighborhood fixture for many years and will be missed!

Wildlife Abounds in LaFayette Ridge
Lafayette Ridge is home to many types of wildlife including a beautiful family of owls. The (mother?) owl is often spotted throughout the neighborhood and is absolutely huge! If you get a picture of her, please share it. A nest was spotted behind the Stuckey's house.

A hungry fox killed several neighborhood chickens. A fox and coyote were recently spotted roaming the subdivision.

School Starts Soon
Open House for Sharon Elementary is set for August 1st from 4-6 p.m.
The first day of school for students in the WCSO is Wednesday, August 3rd.
