Prayer Request
Buddy's sister, Mary Ann Thompson, is battling brain cancer. According to Melanie, the cancer is very aggressive and she has four tumors on her brain. The worst is attached to her brain stem which is affecting her motor skills, and will eventually affect her ability to breathe. She had four intense radiation treatments last week that improved her right hand movement just a little. The doctor told Buddy and Charles that the tumors have started bleeding, so they are giving her seizure medication. She was recently moved to the hospice wing at Emory. Please continue your prayers for the family.
Blood Drive
Summit Church, located on Highway 81 in Loganville, will host a blood drive on Tuesday, Jan. 18 from 2-7 p.m. The American Red Cross is very low on blood at this time, especially with the recent snow. Contact Angie to schedule a time to give blood.
